Crane Environment: Week 01

Week 01 Crane Environment: Block out


This week I decided to model this crane from Anno 1800. I thought a smaller environment piece would let me focus on textures more and let me finish and light the piece properly in four weeks.

 Schedule

Week 01:

Block out all the pieces in Maya
Bring pieces into Unreal and test the scene

Week 02:

Finish High Poly models
Make Low Poly
Unwrap UVs
Bake textures

Week 03:

First pass at textures
First pass at materials
First pass at smoke texture

Week 04:

Light Scene
Make smoke effects




I started to blocked out the pieces in Maya. I still have to make the crane.
