I started to sculpt assets in Zbrush to make seamless textures for my building. Here is a test I did for my wood planks.


I started to set the uvs for the modular pieces of the building.

Viking Environment: Blockout

Viking Environment Week 1 Blockout



I'm working on figuring out how I'm going to make the main section of the building modular.


I brought the new pieces into Unreal to further assemble and test my pieces.


I noticed there are a few things I have to change to make my  pieces look more like the concept. The front entrance seems to be off. I seems to be to wide toward the top.

Week 01

I started to block out the floor  and stairs in Maya and brought the pieces into Unreal to check if the pieces snap together.


I'm testing out the modular chunks and started to UV the parts that are going to be repeated a lot to save time.


Here are the pieces snapped together in Unreal. I applied a temporary material so I could see how the UV look.
